Cutest message from Clara
Sometimes when I’m not home yet by 5:01 PM, Clara will call and leave a message for me. She tries really hard to get the context and voice right, like talking to me about my e-mail or my co-workers. It sometimes even sounds as though she’s hiding in a corner somewhere so that Mom won’t here her and she can leave a longer message. Don’t miss the kisses at the end.
Clara dances the hula
Did you know that Clara dances the hula? Not only can she hula, but she can cast her net right into the sea with the best of them. Well, this summer when we went to Oregon for a family reunion on Rachel’s side, she finally got the chance to strut her stuff. Here’s the video.
The trebuchet!
This was a fun video that shows me (Dad) and Clara launching junk across the circle with our trebuchet. We took an entire evening and built in in our garage. I think the furthest that we launched something was about 60 feet. ENJOY!
Clara becomes an interior designer
Clara and Rachel picked up a book at the Library about a week ago with some design ideas in it. After a thorough review, Clara decided she wanted to design a lampshade for the small lamp in her bedroom. Together they went to Michael’s and bought some flowers, beads and pink fluff.
