Dad’s Funny Faces
Once upon a time a little boy named Henry got sad, so his Daddy decided to cheer him up! He got the camera and took funny face selfies with the little boy until he was happy again. The End. It was really awesome to watch it all happen. Dad is so creative with his funny faces, we were all laughing! The favorite is the “The Cheesy Smile” or “The Disgusted Snob”.
Fairy Garden
In September last year we made a fairy garden. We had a path and all sorts of magical items. There were turtles, a trellis, a mini door, a pond, and flowers. Now it’s kinda gone but it was beautiful when it was new.
Rain, Rain, Rain
We love to go out when it’s raining and play. We’ll make umbrella tents and dare each other to run out and touch the mailbox, splash in the gutter three times and come back. Its so much fun! We also get drenched. I stay inside and read most rainy days but sometimes I’ll come out and splash. Lydia made up a rain song and it gets pretty funny. “Rain rain come and stay never ever go away, but if you dare to ruin my hair I’ll pull down your underwear, but d ear rain I’ll forgive you if you don’t give me the flu! And I forgot the last verse but I’ll try to remember for you.” This is what she told me after she sang it for me.

Dessert
This year Dad has made alot of amazing pies, cinnamon rolls, and dessert in general. He’s made apple and pumpkin pie, sourdough cinnamon rolls, chocolate chip chore cookies and more. We’ve made cake and Christmas cookies too! Henry’s birthday cake was a fun thing to eat, it had a crushed Oreo road in the shape of a three and Mater and Lightning McQueen on top! Oh, and and 3 candle.
A New Sandbox!
In June, Dad built a sand box with the boys. They bought the wood and the sand and went to work. They measured the wood and nailed it together. They put weed paper on the bottom and then poured the sand into the box. Then the toys came out. George went to the garage to get shovels and trucks. Henry followed and helped him carry the toys. Once they got back they piled all the toys in and played. They had a ball! When it was time for dinner they were covered with sand and tired. I asked Lydia, George and Henry what they thought:
